Mike, I don't want you to think I'm against the solution of running multiple screen readers. I don't have anything against it as a theory, however, few people can afford it in practical terms, and few can then make themselves learn both screen readers to the depth needed to use them both effectively.

A screen reader, in the use of a pc, is far too important to skimp on paying for and I would gladly pay more if that meant seeing more accomplished. A business needs a stream of revenue to survive, and this is even more important today given the economy meaning perhaps reduced new sales. Believe me, I understand the business side of the equation; but, on the other hand, users, as others have stated, will ultimately make choices based on what the marketplace offers. With today's pcs being able to run multiple screen access packages, this competition is taking on a somewhat different dimension. To forgive is the highest, most beautiful form of love.
