GW Micro made it clear, or so I thought, last year, that browse mode was due a solution in WE 8. Does rolling out 7.5 change that? Are you thinking that? To quote "What I said that either they are unable to fix browse mode (a possibility) or not worth the extended effort required."

What I said that either they are unable to fix browse mode (a possibility)
or not worth the extended effort required.
Not everything can be fixed or it might be viewed not worth the effort.
After all, just because a problem exists doesn't necessarily mean a fix is
possible.
That's what we have been told, as an example, relative to flash issues.
And while I may not like that, I have to accept that as a possibility.
I have to believe that if fixing it were a trivial matter reuuiring
minimal effort it would have been done a long time ago as is the case with
other problems.
Some problems are solvable; others may not be and a 3rd group may be
technically resolvable but either time or cost prohibitive to do.
We are not privy to that kind of info for obvious reasons as a company
isn't likely to tip their hand especially if competitors would gain an
advantage from that info.
However, actions or lack thereof often can at least give us clues.
And that's all we have for better or worse.
And let's hope for the best.
