Hmm. I don't usually do that. I usually just go ahead and choose to run
window-eyes instead of saving it. If we all did that. We would all be waiting
for a disk to come in or saving it when we upgrade. I might be wrong but I get
the feeling that most people just go ahead and run it like I do when they
upgrade from the internet.

Sandra,
It is always a good idea to download the copy of a program etc. to disc into a
temp or download folder. Then when ready to installdisconnect computer from
internet, close all virus and other misc rograms you may have running and then
install the program. This will always give you a cleaner install of downloaded
programs or use the install disc if you have it as they are identical.
After installing reconnect the internet and restart, everything should reload
as before.

Good luck,

Jim

Wonder if my Norton 2006 interfeared with my instalation of
7.5. can I go back to 7.2 and try installing again from the
cd? I thought about doing that but wasn't sure and didn't
really trust myself. I was afraidI would miss something so
I upgraded mine from the internet.

Norton 2010 has been known to interfere with our Window-Eyes
app support. To resolve this issue, disable Norton, perform
an emergency removal of Window-Eyes, and re-install 7.5.

Steve
