Hi Mike,

I have an app out there named MS Word, and if you set it to, it will speak
additional info about how your Word document is formatted, as you move
around the document.

It is by default set to only speak this additional info if you have "format
alert" turned on, but you can override this behavior, and use one of it's
settings to force it to speak the additional formatting info all of the
time.

so, check under your app menu to see if you see MS Word, and if so, see if
it is set to always speak additional formatting info.

hth,

Chip

Hello Steve

Yes, that is considerably better. It is still saying things like "style
heading2" but I can cope with that. Incidentally, Steve, your messages are
always duplicated.

With thanks

Mike.
