I am sure this new app will be very useful to many blind people. A old
guy like me not so much.
An idea I have passed along before is to do the same type of thing for
another useful application for the blind.
Such programs like open Book are very useful easy to use OCR programs.
The trouble is that it is expensive and is made by FS which in my
opinion is a difficult company to deal with.
How about Steve's next endeavor to be creating a app using one of the
available OCR programs making them a little more user friendly. I know
they can be used as is but not as easy as Open Book or similar programs.
Not wanting all the extra bells and whistles just a quick and easy to do
OCR. In this way a effective easy to use OCR program would simply be
another great app from GW and a purchase of a $100 OCR application.
