I began doing business with GW in 1990. I really don't agree with your logic. If I followed your logic I should expect the grocery store I've been going to for 20 years to give me free food. i've had an account with the same electric utility for over 30 years. Should I be able to demand free electricity? This kind of thinking could become very rediculous. Software is one of those items that may over time cost more than the original purchase. Businesses often pay every year for support and upgrades for software that they need. The SMA that GW offers is a reasonable way to make it possible for us to determine how much we need to spend. They have given us many free upgrades over the years. Time alone doesn't make a loyal customer. People who keep their products up to date do pay less than people who skip versions.

Subject: WE Upgrades

Sometime later this month I will have been a GW software user for 15 years.
Suspect that there are not many users longer than that.
I have been a loyal user of GW products and have purchased all original software and upgrades from my own resources. I believe that for long-term users of the product we sould be offered upgrades free of charge as I believe that I have probably spent several times the cost of the original software over the years.
What do other long-term users think?
Cheers
Andrea
