Hi Shannon,

As Richard says, you'll need to check for the app which makes the
functionality behind the insert-z command work; its name is Word Navigation.

If it's running, there will be an entry for it in the Apps menu of the WE
control panel. If you have disabled apps, then it won't be running, and
won't be there.

If it's missing, just download and reinstall it using appGet (it could be
missing if you ever reinstall the factory set files for Office 2010; just
reinstalling the set files for Office 2010 unfortunately causes WE to lose
track of all apps which are specific to Outlook 2010, Word 2010, etc., and
WordNav is specific to Word 2010, so after you reinstall set files for these
programs, you then have to reinstall apps which are specific to them). This
is true for any set files for any program, and apps which are specific to
the program.

(Thanks Richard for the kind words).

hth,

Chip

        Subject: word navigation mode

            Good morning,
I was reading the manual of 7.5.4.1 and it says that to enter into
and out of Word navigation mode that the hot key is insert Z.
When I use this key combo nothing at all happens in Word 2010. I
even used the key describer and there is no definition for that key combo.

What I want to do is read the tables of documents and hear the
column titles as I read across with the insert and the arrow keys. I
thought that might be in this navigation mode but it appears not to be
working for me.
        Any one have any suggestions?
        Thank you Shannon
