It seems to be OK with Thunderbird; although, thunderbird is generally
sluggish every now and again by nature but isn't too bad.

I would, except I have had bad results using GMail POP with
Outlook--when deleting messages, there is a very noticeable
lag before moving to the next message. I noticed it on two
computers with two different screen readers, so it seems to
be universal. Do you notice it?

can anyone provide suggestions to an alternative email

now I use Office Outlook for my Exchange account which is
great and I
use thunderbird for Gmail with the pop service. I have

just not ideal with the constant focus issues in the
message edit box
(I can't even hear what I am backspacing over and such) and it is
also kind of sluggish. Any suggestions would be great.
