Hi:

Gmail is accesible in a number of ways.

First, probably the best Web experience is to use what they call the "Basic 
html" interface.

Also, you can turn on pop and imap access and use Outlook Express, Outlook, as 
well as the mail program in Windows Live Essentials.  Gmail sees to work ok 
with IMAP, since you can have multiple folders and access them with some or 
maybe all of these programs.

You tuen on POP and IMAP access in GMail's settings.  You may need a little 
help on the settings page, bu, once you turn on that setting, you should never 
have to fool with it again.

A lot of us use GMail.
