Hi Robert: I have been using Gmail on the web for a long time, simply because I am on several e-mail lists like this one and I want to keep them separate from my personal mail. Anyway, here are a few tricks I use. 1. In order to reply to an e - mail, I fiirst activate the Reply link, then I go to the top of the page and press the letter c until I hear the edit box which contains the address I am replying to, then I press Enter to get out of Browse mode. Then I can tab to the message body, (five or six times, depending whether the BCC field is showing). Then I press control-home to get to the top of the message body and then type your reply. (note that if Browse Mode is turned on, control home will take you to the top of the screen so make sure Browse Mode is turned off.) After you are finished typing the reply, press the tab key once to get to the Send button and press the spacebar. 2. One way to read messages faster is to use bookmarks. I have a bookmark on the line that says "show original message" because that is just above the body of the message you want to read. Please e-mail me privately if you are not sure how to do this. If your reply would benefit others on the list and your message is related to GW Micro, then please consider sending your message to [email protected] so the entire list will receive it.
