Hi Morné, I know that Arron already responded, however what exactly do you want? Do you want GW to respond to each message sent to this list, including the other lists, Twitter, fAcebook, and whatever other medium they use, and do you want an acknowledgement that your message has been personally read? If you want that kind of response, then give GW a call, or email [email protected]. How do you expect them to continue to work on WE, taking note of all the issues posted, and then trying to resolve them if possible?

I'm just curious because you outlined the problem just fine, but didn't offer a clear-cut solution other than a suggestion that perhaps you are grumpy.

There is something in this discussion that frustrates me a bit. The staff at
GW Micro is now dead silent. Do they follow this thread? It is good and well
that they use a "guess what" initiative to tell us all about the nice
upcumming features. But now that we are discussing the problems, they are
silent. Am I just grumpy or what? But I take it from myself: if I am a
developer of a product and there are complaints, I would react.

Kind regards
Morne

Subject: RE: Well browse mode is still a mess

I've had similar issues with this. Numerous sites where browse mode simply
doesn't behave at all--stops speaking completely. It actually seems worse
to me with the beta 2 than it did in 7.  Sorry to be such a jerk about this;
I don't mean to be. But I know I have a problem when I actually yearn for
the uncomplicated days of tapping Enter every time I had to type something.

I realize I need to be more specific regarding which sites are problematic,
but so many of them are that I really don't know where to begin. I can't
always tell whether browse mode is on or off, so I wind up banging Control+A
more than I ever did before the improvements.

This is doubtless operator error on my part or some silly setting I've
created that few if anyone else has, but it's perplexing, to say the least,
and frustrating at most.
