and all of the English voices can be had for $39 and I bet there will
be up to ten voices? considering there are Irish and Scottish
accented and the Indian accented one also, let alone the British UK
version. Even so, never have I seen so many choices available, up to
5 per voice for variable qualities, where the "compact" Tom voice
sounds exactly like the one in the Victor Stream, just as the
Samantha compact voice does.
Thank you GW-Micro for all of the work. The Samantha voice is the
most responsive voice at high speeds I've seen for "human quality" simulation.

You are dorrect. The English US voices are all on the web site and
can be downloaded, installed and used. As Doug said a while ago
more voices will be on the site soon.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong about this, but I sort of get
the impression that once you purchase a license you have access to
all the voices available to that license and at whatever quality you
wish. You don't need to pay anymore. So unless I'm mistaken you
should be able to just download the higher quality voices if you
want them since you already have a license to use them. So if you
purchased all the English voices you should be able to download them
whenever you need and at whatever quality simply by entering your WE
serial number on the voices page. Again, someone can clarify if I'm
wrong, but that's, to quote 90's band the Mighty Mighty Bostones,
the impression that I get.

I downloaded the "Tom Standard" voice last
night. I finally got it to download, but I decided I would
probably like the "Tom Premium" voices better. However, when I
try to purchase this one, I get the message after my credit card
info has been submitted that I already have an English license. I
am willing to pay for another voice. Why can't I download it?

You can download the voices and even install them, but without that
authorization file, you cannot make them work.
I am using the Samantha voice at the moment and it is very good,
indeed, even more responsive with Window-eyes than I was
expecting. I have to use my USB headset for window-eyes to see a
"sound card" it can interact with, otherwise, for some reason
window-eyes does not see my sound card. :)
the voices are great!

I looked at these voices today on the web site. I saw something
about a "synthesizer authorization button". Do you have to
download one of those for the sample voices, and another one for
the actual voices themselves?
