Hi Everyone:
I believe that the question of whether or not to use Window-Eyes in the
workplace may be somewhat muted. Window-Eyes NOW IS NOW CAPABLE of
emulating Jaws by simply changing your default key layout. But whether or
not the powers that be will agree to purchase a copy of Window-Eyes is
another story entirely.
Since I am struggling to work for myself, neither Window-Eyes nor Jaws truly
satisfies or meets my real needs in my retail storefront. Of the two
though, Window-Eyes HAS KEPT ME somewhat reasonably gainfully employed in my
trade for the longest period of time. Yes, I have software that need
scripts written for them to make them hopefully function even better. There
are JUST NOT ENOUGH scripters in the Window-Eyes realm willing to talk about
negotiating a reasonable price for the scripting exercise. I hope this
changes soonest!!
