My new Dell desktop is running Windows 8 so that wouldn't be possible for me; however, Chase mobile, m.chase.com works very nice with IE10 and Standard also works with the version of Firefox I have, 11.

Chase techy did say that Chase did a software upgrade last weekend. Prior
to that I had no problem doing what I needed to do: manual downloads from 2
accounts using Intuit web format to my Quicken (2010) s/w.

Since this upgrade I can log on with no problem. The page that comes up
disallows browse mode and I can only navigate by tabbing from link to link
which takes 20 seconds or so to get to the next link. Hitting the Enter key
or space bar may, or may not do anything. Attempts to enable browse mode
are useless; no message that browse mode is unavailable.

Coming in to m.chase.com works fine. Problem is that I find no way to
download transactions. I can pay the bill but that's about it.

Win 7, Dell quad 4 (sounds like a basketball term), 86X with more RAM than
my computer center in the mid-70s could dream of having. I download to
Quicken directly as I don't think Quicken/Intuit needs to see my stuff
passing through plus having to fork out $9.95 a month for the priviledge. I
use IE10. Tired of having to keep up with more than one browser (i.e.
Firefox) which works, or doesn't according to the whims of the latest latest
update.
I fussed at Chase suggesting that they might have tested before upgrading
and/or sent out a notice regarding changes. E.G. do I need Java to use the
site? Mentioned that a number of WE users used their access and many on the
list own credit cards -- and that I can move both of mine to some other
bank. Asked them to send me a note or phone about my difficulties --
nothing but cricket chirps.

m.chase.com does work with IE and
I've been able to use the standard
site with Firefox.

Bob, I don't have a Chase account, but did you
try a "screen refresh"
using "Control-backslash" after invoking
Compatibility Mode? I'm
guessing you probably did.

to use the tools menu to turn on

That had no affect on the page. I

nothing else would read with the

control shift a would not do anything

received other reports of this problem
and she said that she would

also wanted me to download firefox,
but I
don't want firefox on this computer and
refused to do so. I can still
access my accounts via the Chase app on
my iPhone, but I prefer to use
Internet Explorer 10 to do my banking.

What happens is I have Brose Mode
available on the logon screen;
however,
after clicking Login button,
Window-eyes will speak the normal
"downloading
page" when arrowing up and down but I
will eventually completely lose
Browse
Mode. Using the CTRL-Shift-A
hotkey to turn it on only results in
that
stupid System ding and no Browse
Mode. At least Firefox will do the
job for
now, but still rather frustrating.

no sense.

Remember, if you delete

They claim for security,
