m.chase.com does work with IE and
I've been able to use the standard
site with Firefox.

Hello Rick here and I am having the same problems with
Chase banking. I

balance of my account or
arrow around at all. Does anyone know if Chase is
going to fix this
problem, or is it a win eyes problem. I had been
using their website

now in the past 2
weeks I am unable to use it. Thanks Rick On 4/8/2013 6:31 AM, Craig

Bob, I don't have a Chase account, but did you
try a "screen refresh"
using "Control-backslash" after invoking
Compatibility Mode? I'm
guessing you probably did.

Thanks a lot for notifying Chase and yes,
Compatibility mode was one of
the first things I tried before emptying
Temp files, resetting IE, and
finally doing a Refresh of Windows 8.

Bob and other
Chase dot com users,
I just spoke with an online tech
support person at Chase, and she
asked me
to find the blue thing that looks like
a page ripped in half to put
the site
in compatibility mode. I let her
know that that was absurd to ask a
blind
person to look for a blue picture on
the page. She then ask me to
get a
sighted person to look at the screen
and I let her know that there
was no
sighted person around and that many
blind folks would have the same
situation. She eventually told me
to use the tools menu to turn on
compatibility mode, which I did.
That had no affect on the page. I
could
still tab from link to link, but
nothing else would read with the
arrows and
control shift a would not do anything
to browse mode. They had
already
received other reports of this problem
and she said that she would
give the
web developers my feedback. She
also wanted me to download firefox,
but I
don't want firefox on this computer and
refused to do so. I can still
access my accounts via the Chase app on
my iPhone, but I prefer to use
Internet Explorer 10 to do my banking.

What happens is I have Brose Mode
available on the logon screen;
however,
after clicking Login button,
Window-eyes will speak the normal
"downloading
page" when arrowing up and down but I
will eventually completely lose
Browse
Mode. Using the CTRL-Shift-A
hotkey to turn it on only results in
that
stupid System ding and no Browse
Mode. At least Firefox will do the
job for
now, but still rather frustrating.

OK, went through the verification
stuff like normal but still no
browse mode after logging in on my
desktop running Windows 8 and 8.1
of Window-eyes. No Browse
Mode issues on my netbook running
Windows 7
and Win-eyes 8.1. This makes
no sense.

Remember, if you delete
your cookies, chase then makes you go
through a number of steps
to authorize that computer to log in
under
your users name and
password, I find it frustrating that they make
you do that on every
computer you use to access your account.
They claim for security,
but if you delete your cookies, then you
must expect to do this
authorization again!
