Hi all, I have just spent some frustrating time trying to find out a: how to change the default download folder for IE10 and b: how to get a choice of where to put any given file just prior to the download starting.
I have been using the Windows XP and that version of IE forever, but it is time to change. I even asked my sighted spouse, who has been using various browsers under Win 7, and he didn't know how to make the change, and the IE help wasn't much in this instance. I want to put my downloads folder just off the root, where it is easy to access. And I want the ability to select a file to download and then, prior to the download actually beginning, I want to be able to change where that file goes, in the case that I don't want it going where default downloads go. An example would be when downloading a BARD book, which I want to go into my bard books folder, not my regular download folder. Yes, I could go and copy the downloaded file upon completion of the d/l and paste into my BARD directory. But that is inefficient and seemingly unnecessary. Can anybody help here? Thanks in advance.
