Hi Mary, To set the download folder in IE`10, go to the download manager with ctrl-j. Press tab to options and in the options menu, you can set the download folder.
When you want to download and Window-Eyes will tell you, there is an information bar with a button save. Press alt-n to go to this bar and tab to the save split-button. Press down-arrow to split this button and to get to the save as option and press enter.
