Hi, pat I am on the android list smile.
My mom bought me the tablit for Christmas from amazon. She spent 313
bucks on the 64 gb model. No I didn't ask her how much she spent she gave
me a rough idea so I would be able to tell my clients who might be
interested in this device. Here is the link on this device from del.
http://www.dell.com/us/p/dell-venue-8-pro/pd
this will do everytning you could want. It is a wonderful device. Going to
pair a keyboard with it later and put window-eyes on it. I have not done
that yet because I wanted to get a feel for how the touch screen worked in
windows with the screen readers that supported touch. I wrote a long
message about this subject explaining how I think window-eyes could do it
better and be different. Some times being behind is better because if gives
you a chance to look at what the other guys are doing and figure out a way
to do it better. This is where google and talk back missed the boat. They
didn't look at what voice over was doing and try to be better they went a
completely different root altogether. On the other hand the support you
get on the touch screen with jaws feels too much like voice over and its
jestures and are easy to perform if rather complex. See my message on this
subject.

Subject: RE: Window-eyes on a Microsoft Tablet

Hi Jim,

Was the Windows Tablet expensive? I want one that I can run Window-Eyes on.

I want a Windows tablet with a Bluetooth keyboard that would fold up and a
case for the tablet.

I thought you were on the Android list. lol.

Thanks much.

Many Blessings,

Pat Ferguson
