Hi Bob,

In Internet Explorer, some mouse support is possible, at least the ability to route the mouse to the active element. You must go to the Tools menu, choose Internet Options, and, in the Advanced Tab, the first entry in the tree view is Accelerated Graphics. Expand this branch, highlight Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering, press spacebar to toggle this setting on, and press Enter to save this setting.

hth,

Rod

Hi,

I also use Free Tax USA and I'm glad that this topic was brought up before I
started my taxes this year. IE11 doesn't work with the Window-Eyes mmouse
and you need the mouse on some drop down menus to complete the forms.
therefore, I'll be using my old xp machine to do my taxes this year.

Yes that is the free online software. I am not using a MAC. I have Windows
7, IE11, and WE 8.4.

I have used it for the past 2 years, but I ran into the problem this year.

Hello Everyone,

I have been using free tax software for a couple of years. I logged in this
morning to start my 2013 tax return. I ran into a problem. I could not
read the information. I found out by trial and error, that if I turn browse
mode off I could read the fields, mostly. I did not have this issue in the
past. Is there a simple answer to resolve this? If not, I will find
another software to use.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Barbara
