Hi, there is a utility you can get called winpatrol that can help with understanding what is going on with your system including understanding what the startup programs are and if you need them or not.
I used it back in xp and maybe even earlier and just grabbed again a few weeks a go and found it works great under win 7 too. -----Original Message----- From: Kelly Sapergia [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, February 06, 2015 3:47 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Possible Major Problem with Window-Eyes and 64-Bit Systems Hi, The suggestion about using MSConfig is a good one. I looked at what's in the Startup tab, and am not sure what to disable. There are three items labeled "Intel Common User Interface", each with different filenames or registration keys, as well as "Intel USB Monitor", another "USB Monitor 3.0" item from Renesas Technologies, and iTunes Helper. I'll definitely do some research into all this before disabling anything, but just thought I'd let you know what I found. Thanks.
