Hello. You need not use a PC to set up the Braille Sense Plus. I
apologize for any confusion. Also, just so you know, setup of the
Internet wireless connection is different than setting up your Email.
So, you should do the Internet setup first, then once that is confirmed
to be working, you can get the Email set up. I have a Verizon account
and it works without problems with the Sense notetakers. If you give us
a call in case you still have questions please do so during regular
business hours in the Eastern time zone.

use these nice little PDA's if they perform as advertised.

You should set up your E-mail the exact way you have it set
up via PC.
Since you're at home, default ports should be used, and check to
make sure
your settings are right. Did you put your E-mail address in the
advanced
section for authentication purposes? Do you have to do that with
your PC?
Try to match it up as best you can.
