That's what I thought would have to be done ...

What happens to the old Blazie .brl ones?

Hi Carol,
BS will not recognize KWB or KWT files. So the best
method that I can think of would be to translate the BN
files as regular .txt files, load it onto a storage
device, then read it on a BS. Cheers,
Joseph

What happens if you want to load a (previously used)
Braille Note file? Do you have to convertt it using the
BN into another format before you can use on the
BrailleSense?

Hi, List!

I thought I would mention a few more discoveries I made.
I would assume they are true for the bt model as well as
the qt.
1. You cannot change a file from read-only compress to
original and edit it without the file getting corrupted.
I opened a file and turned on read-only compressed. As I
was reading, I discovered some errors I needed to
correct. I changed the file from read-only compressed to
write original and made a correction. To my dismay, the
file became corrupted! I closed the file without saving,
then I opened it again, made the necessary changes and
the file was fine.
2. Place markers are only preserved in SenseWord files.

3. The < > signs are translated as dot 4 dots 1,2,6 and
dot 4 dots 3,4,5. I like that!

4. The unit doesn't remind you when you are using
one-handed mode. If you are trying to write braille and
you see nothing until you press the space bar, then you
are in one-handed mode.
That's all for now.
