You could also point to the files you wish to send, then hit ENTER-S. You'll be given a choice as to what drive to send the file(s) to; choose the SD card and hit ENTER and the files will be sent to the root of the drive.

A mild gripe: there's this wonderful document out there called a manual. Why not read it? It's all in there!

And as to the wireless problem, perhaps the wi-fi connection is mode N which the BS Plus can't handle.
