Hello Sarah,
What you are referring to is called "wireless lan" and it can be turned on
in the options' menu. Press space-o to open this menu and the letter w (dots
2, 4, 5, 6) until your display reads "wireless lan"; then press the
space-bar or back-space to toggle this feature between the on and off
settings. One word of caution: if you leave this feature on, your battery
will run down faster when the BSP is running and when it is not. When you
are near a hotspot, a place to access a wireless network, or if you just
want to see what networks are available in your current location, press
enter on utility in the program menu and press "i" to activate the set-up
internet dialog. Then, scroll down to "wireless" and press enter. You should
see a list of available access points if there are any; if not, a 0 will
show on your display. I believe you can connect to an access point by
pressing enter on it. I hope this helps. Please let me know if there is
anything you need clarified or more assistance with the wireless lan of the
BSP. Take care,

Subject: [GWN] have a question about how to turn on the Y 5 feature of the
braille sense and how to use it
Hi Everyone!
I would like to be able to activate and use the Y Fii feature of the
Braille Sense. I have looked both in the help manual on the Braille Sense
and the braille quick guide manual to see if there was a section about it
either in the utilities or option areas of the note taker. I haven't seen
anything about it and I know the Braille Sense has this capability,
because that's one of the main reasons I upgraded to the BSP. I'd also
like to find an area in the Braille Sense where hopefully it'll explain a
step by step explanation of how to activate the Y Fii feature and use it.
If anyone can help me with this, or if you're available Raul, I'd really
would appreciate it! I'd like to be able to check and send e-mail or surf
the internet while at coffee shops, while waiting at doctor's offices or
clinics that have Y Fii capability.
Sarah
