Hi, I think it's hardware design decision. Cheers, Joseph

Could the note-takers have faster processors or is that a hardware thing? If I'm right, theoretically Braille Sense (and in fact Apex) can support up to 2 TB of memory via external drives. At the moment you can go easily up to 100 GB (64 GB CF, 32 GB SD and 8 GB Flash). Just asking being as I tend to use SD cards a lot. smile. ----- Original Message ----- From: Michael Barber <[email protected] To: "[email protected]" <[email protected] Date: Monday, May 17, 2010 16:32:10 Subject: RE: [GWN] Teaser2 for the new Sense notetaker firmware Now we're talking. I'm pretty certain no other note taker can say this. Any possibility of increasing the storage from 8GB to 16? I have to say I was surprised that Braillenote Apex didn't do this. I've not commented about any of this, because I no longer have my Sense product. I wish I did, because it's the best one out there. The tech support is the best out there. And yes, Raul, I am talking to you. Every product can use improvement, but I truly believe GW tries to deliver. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Raul A. I know some on here don't think it's a big deal, but that is a Word processor enhancement. Many thanks. We are working hard to bring you the next firmware for the Voice Sense, Braille Sense Plus, and Braille Sense (Original) notetakers. Although we are not yet saying when the firmware will be released, I can say that it's getting close. In the mean time, I'd like to offer the following teaser. Teaser 2: Enhanced E-mail features. The E-mail program of the Sense notetaker has many enhancements. The below is one of them. Additional mailbox support. Gone is the storage box. Instead, there is now a sent box and an out box. When you send an email, a copy is saved in the sent box. If the message fails to send or you save it before sending, it is saved in the out box. Additionally, the list of mail boxes is accessible by pressing Shift-Tab from the message list. This is similar to how it's done with Windows E-mail programs such as Thunderbird and Outlook Express. Stay tuned for additional teasers in the next several days. Many thanks. -- Raul A.
