Hi Eric,

Well, sounds as if your connection may be okay. The only other thing you might possibly try, and you've probably alread done it is to do a reset fof the unit and then see if you can connect to gw for the upgrade.

Last night Raul said gw is working with HIMS to resolve some problems with the online upgrade, so possibly that's involved too.

Sure frustrating though.

HI Don,
I think I have to rummage around this weekend and see if I can find my
flash card reader.

Then the upgrade should be pretty easy.

I hate having to send my unit back for something so trivial.

On the other hand since I've owned it for almost three years mayb e the
Braille display needs cleaning.

I have no trouble connecting to the Internet either to e-mail or my
browser.

I'm using a DSL modem and a Linksys router.

As I said before this last Sense upgrade in 2008 or thereabouts I was
able to connect to the GW Micro web site the minute I hit update in the
utilities directory.

If I have any more proglems or if I achieve success I'll get back to you.

I do hope that the Braille Sense classics have enough ram to accept the
newer upgrade.

Have a good holiday weekend.
