Hi,

For your situation, it would work for you. In normal circumstances, you just
start wordprocessor, write something, save it with a name and you are done.

Cheers,

Joseph

Subject: [GWN] Progress? was: New Member with a Question about "Save as..."

Hi, List,

Well, I think perhaps I have made some progress, of a sort. I discovered
that I can create a new folder within the "My Documents" folder, and I can
create a new document within that folder. Then I can open the folder, write
in it, and save the changes to that document. When I open the word
processor and write in a new document and then try to save it to a new
document name, I still get the crashing cymbals, however. But at least now
I can work within a document if I create it first. Is that just the way
this device works, or should I be able to write in a new document before
giving it a name and use the "save as..." function just as I do on my PC?

Ann
