Hi Terri: I appreciate the explanatory notes; however, when my BrailleNote was still functional, I never ran into a situation whereby the bracket was preceded by a dot 6 before dots 2-3-5-6. I dare say that, until its death, my BrailleNote presented Braille in a format that I truly liked.
In general, I never translate Braille to print. I let the computer worry about issues relating to print. But I do a lot of reading and Braille notetaking with my BSP, and my notes are for personal use, I don't need to present it in any format to a pair of eyes.
It would have been great if the BSP allows one to choose the type of Braille format preferred.
It is possible that the Apex WILL NOT let me choose my preferences when it comes to Braille formats. But I have not found one to play with and as such I can't comment on that. I do recall though that Keysoft 5.1 Build 22 did give me choices during the configuration process.
