Hi,
Actually, there are more people here without these units who provide useful
suggestions. The reason why I said that suggestion was because of
variability in responses on different units. The majority seems to not have
this problem, so I thought perhaps reinstalling the 5.5 firmware "might" fix
it.
I'll take this time to announce: The chief reason for joining this list (in
my case) was to find out (and contribute) what the other guys are doing.
Also, any mobile device (including those that I use or those that I don't)
are computers as well, thus the RAM suggestion. I will not comment on
anything further on this issue (to see what Raul will say on this)...
Cheers,
Joseph

Hi Sunshine,

Quite frankly, I really think you need to have a serious talk with gw.
I don't know why these sorts of things always hapen during convention
times when staffing is light due to having to handle exhibit booths and
stuff, but it must be a law of nature or something.

Anyway, I believe Raul is supposed to be back this next week and maybe
he can give you some good direction.

As for some extreme suggestions, remember one very important thing.
Many are coming from a person who doesn't even own or use a sense
notetaker. A manual is helpful, but they're prone to errors just like
everything else. There's no substitute for working with people who
actually know the day-to-day working of your unit based on personal
experience rather than some abstract theory.

That ttechnical business may sound impressive, but it can also result in
incorrect or wrong information from those who don't know or use the units.

Something significant is definitel going on with your unit and you need
real hands-on expertise in determining what you need to do.

I've been there and I know just how frustrating your situation can be.

This probably isn't of much real help either, but hopefully it can help
until gw is really back in focus with the list.

Don
