I think people went to Facebook because it does show pictures. With this
list people could and still can post links to the portrait or garment or
whatever they want to discuss, but many did not bother. The problem I
see with Facebook is that the format discourages most of the substantive
discussion we did so well on h-costume. People just post reams of
pictures, others press the like button, and the whole thing scrolls off
the screen so quickly, with further additions, that often it's hard to
even find a discussion of interest that took place a day or so
previously. So I'd vote for h-costume with links to pictures, somewhere.

I REALLY wish Yahoo Groups were still supported. It was so easy to find
old threads that way and just refer people to them if they asked a similar
question.
