However leads me to a question! how does one keep veils on when nothing
ever stays I have tried everything this side of glue and staples to keep
veils on even the folding method. any suggestions????
The secret is pins.
I've used two methods
1 - I make a little bunch of hair with rubber bands (they don't slip like
elastics made for hair tend to do), one at the front of my head, one at the
back, and pin through the elastic to keep the veil in place. It makes a
little bump, but it doesn't show too much.
2 - I wear a white cap under the veil. I tie it at the back of my head or
under my chin, depending if the veil will cover the ties in front or not.
When tied at the nape of my neck, I bring the front down lower than my
hairline, to make sure it stays. Then I pin the veil to it, making sure I
hide everything underneath.
The second technique is much more comfortable than anything else I've tried.
My hair is short and slippery, so nothing holds to it :-)
