Fran's books cover 1877-1882; the patterns and instructions in her books are specifically those with which I am seeking assistance. Since interpreting the patterns and instructions in Volume 1 seems to be dependant upon having Volume 2 (Volumes 1 & 2 being everything Fran said she could provide) I may have to "punt" on this particular project. Or settle on a pattern or two from Truly Victorian, which hasn't got exactly what I'm looking for.
