I was reading on another list where folks were losing image data on CDs
that were only 3-4 years old. Anyone else have this problem?
I know permanent archival isn't a solved problem, but I thought this was
important to many of us. I'd like to hear what you guys do.
that brings to mind a question I've been meaning to ask this (or another)
group for some time. What do you think of the on-line storage services?
Foto-bucket, Snapfish and others. I always worry about losing all my family
and research photos from a hard drive crash. There are lots of ways to loose
and/or damage CDs in storage. I thought of an on-line storage facility as a
back up? Anyone have bad experiences with those?
