Yeah, mine was considerably different. In a dressing room with a 3-way mirror. The woman doing the fitting asked what size I wore, and what problems I had. Then she looked me over (topless) and brought in several to try. We talked about what fit and how it felt. They all fit better than my old bra, but we kept trying models until we got one more or less perfect. I was there over an hour. It reminded me of those old movies where ladies go shopping and shopgirls bring in a steady stream of dresses for madame to approve.

The only other time I put that much effort into a fitting was when having a victorian corset pattern made. You know how much difference an eighth of an inch can make sometimes....
