On the sewing table (currently playing the part of my dummy) are a 13th c. gown in dark blue wool that needs hemming and readjusting the dratted neck placket, a 13th c. gown in sage green lightweight linen that needs armscye gussets, seam finishing, and hemming, and then there's a piece of white linen that needs to become veils. The shoes (silver brocade upholstery fabric with leather soles) need to be fitted and finished, and if I'm good I'll manage a smock, either linen or silk.
On the embroidery frame is a set of cuffs for the blue gown--white silk on dark blue linen. The design is a pattern from a 12th c. German altar frontal that I found in Nancy Spies's book "Here Be Wyverns".
And all before next Friday! Well, except the green dress. That doesn't have a deadline.
