Another UK viewer - I loved it. I thought it worked really well with
just enough references to the original and very neat ways of updating
the characters' backgrounds and relationships.

I've always thought that if Holmes were alive today, he'd be a
computer geek, probably developing viruses and cracking passwords just
to see if he could, but never releasing the viruses or using the
hacked material for anything evil. I think it was a neat touch that in
the original version, Watson was a veteran of an Afghanistan
campaign--and in the updated version, he still is.
On the other hand, I'm not sure I would like seeing a modernized
version . . .
