My daughter and I watched it last night. She sat down with the 'ok, entertain me' attitude. I wasn't sure if I'd like a modernized version either but withing three minutes we were both sold. Yes, there's no great costuming to look at, but there's a modern London to look at and I'm very happy with that. Yes, Sherlock is a sociopath, but in his case, that's a good thing. Dr. Watson is bright and human and very capable; I look forward to him growing even more in the next two stories. I like the fact that SH can text to the police or Watson. Yes, we each caught onto some bit of information far before it was revealed in the story, but that's what we do.
I can't wait until next Sunday, and not because it's Halloween. LynnD On Sun, Oct 24, 2010 at 6:13 AM, Anne <[email protected]>wrote: > Another UK viewer - I loved it.
