Benjamin Hosted Habari blogs are a good idea. Trying to encourage more people to try Habari is a good idea.
If you want to offer Habari blogs on your hosting to friends, colleagues or people who express an interest in Habari but can't be bothered installing it then by all means go ahead. Don't worry - I knew you were not proposing a commercial, money-making venture. The clue was right there in your original post where you said: 'I'd like to propose an attempt to start a hosting service for free content hosting using Habari.' I agree it's maybe a little premature right now. In the future, an excellent way to reach out to the masses would be to build Fantastico/ SimpleScripts Habari installation scripts and start approaching hosting companies to bundle Habari with their packaged applications (WP, Drupal, Joomla). However, this would need to wait until Habari 1.0 when the schema/API/plugins are more stable.
