WTF? What's wrong with a web-based presentation? It isn't less Linux 
compatible, and some presentations make much more sense as web ones. Are we 
going to reject PDF-based presentations as well, just because PDF is also 
cross-platform? This is ridiculous. I think you misunderstood something 
there. Maybe what they meant was that the presentation computer would be a 
Linux laptop, which can display anything that is Linux-compatible.
