Yes but not only this. It's also the fact that the main benefits of H2 are
on the client side, where the latency is the highest.

Which is funny, because I wanted to use H2 to connect to the server side since I have a situation (please, don't ask) where latency between HAProxy and the server is quite high. Looking at this I thought using H2 to connect to the server might be a dirty/easy 'fix' to get this more acceptable.

Since latency on the client side is also high-ish in this setup, using H2 on the client side might help as well.
