Nick, There are many different types of notes that can be set up. In fact, there is a heirarchy of notes that can be set up. I established about 10-15 for my site.
The tool to edit these is accessible via these menu options: TIUF DOCUMENT DEFINITION MGR-->TIUFC CREATE DDEFS MGR. This is one area that seems well enough documented in the TIU documentation. If you are just going to enter the notes in from CPRS, then it should just be a matter of creating the titles and then setting then released for production use. If you are going to upload into them, then you will need to create a custom upload filer for them. I can help you with this if you need. I'm not sure why the author can't view the note after it is created. Do you have electronic signiture enabled? Its one of the TIU parameters, I believe. Can the author sign the note? FYI, here are some key files for this topic: TIU PARAMETERS -- stores global settings about documentation. Needs to be set up once. TIU DOCUMENT DEFINITION -- there is a record in this file for each type of report that can be created. TIU DOCUMENT -- This is the file containing all reports--each one in a separate record. If you delete are record here, the note will disappear. This would also hold the STATUS of the document, i.e. signed, completed etc. --- Nick James <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Kevin > I followed the steps you have given, that leads to > another question.
