The NDF tables have the same internal entry numbers everywhere and are
"locked down" so there should be no variations. Removing your old entries
for the relevant files and copying in their current entries should work
correctly. Note that part of NDF includes med instructions in English and
Spanish that are under copyright and are therefore deleted from the Cache
and GT.M ready zip files. Since it's too difficult to delete those entries
from the NDF patches as they get released, the patches are no longer posted.

You can see which tables are involved in NDF by examining the COMPARE
NATIONAL DRUG FILE 4.0 entry in the BUILD file and look at the list of
tables in field 6 "FILE".

As I guess you have surmised from the ftp site, there does not seem to have
been a whole NDF made as a patch, but I believe Cameron had mentioned in the

past that there would be one at some point.

I think the NDF is in the FOIA release for Cache and should be fully
patched,
so perhaps Cameron can comment if you have a new clean installation if you
can export the NDF. Actually, I don't think the mappings to the drug file
would change, so I think exporting a NDF from a FOIA would work. Does
anybody know ?
