No, but I can imagine OPEC, which has a floating interest system toward all
clients based on a standard as interpreted by the international bank of
Dubai.. which is fairly convoluted as well :)

People are, in the end, people.. and if they can make money, the will.

True.  But Islamic free trade disallows interest... makes for a
completely different system.  Can you imagine Enron without all the
