The difference between an Antec True330 (which is the absolute bare minimum I would ever put in any computer, period) and an Antec True430 is $10. To go to 480 watts is just another $10. That doesn't seem like too much to ask--plus the supply will be less stressed and run cooler during operation.
I use AOpen 350W PS's here. I'd love to move everyone up to 450W power supplies, but my cost would increase by about $100 to do so, so it's not an option. In your case, I'd do it in a second. The marketing value alone would be worth it.
Ouch, that is definitely too steep to be worthwhile. At least you are using quality power supplies--AOpen has always just been a rebranded Sparkle/FSP (which makes my top 3 list). You looked to see if you can get a Sparkle/FSP/Fortron branded supply any cheaper?
