I can not compete on new systems anymore, SW prices are thru the roof. If MS wants to really get rid of pirates they need > to lower prices, at least to MS partners that they claim they support, hog wash.

I tell any customer who gets my line item quote that if he can find that part (it has to meet my standards, not be the exact part) cheaper, buy it. Bring it to me to include in his new computer. Once you get it broken down to the line items you can justify $90.00 for Windows XP OEM. I just explain that every version of Windows for home use (OEM and Upgrade) has been $90.00 from Windows 95 up through Windows XP Home. This puts the burden on the customer to pay the standard or live with a cheaper build name brand computer.
