[H] Saving Virtual Drives

Ok, lets say I installed Virtual PC and a couple of OS's.

Then I want to reformat the primary hard drive. Can I just save the *.vmc
and *.vhd files and copy them to the updated machine after reinstalling the
Primary OS and Virtual PC?
