well I do, if necessary. If I have "plug-ins" I need not, or, may be causing trouble, I'd like to know from the FF wizards.
Strip it down to the bare FF and then, if that doesn't help, un+re-install. I have so little trouble with FF I don't know for sure If I ever fixed it (on my machine.)
I may do this. My Sister also uses FF and has zero plugins and zero extensions. She loves FF. So, perhaps I need to strip my install to naked. Good thought!
(I get an intermittent update error - but I think that has more to do with my ISP -- crappy (Verizon) DSL...) FIOS is in "my neighborhood" (now) so there is NO chance DSL will get better now... (I'm pretty close to CO...)
Oh, I would so love to have FIOS! ...... I may get it in ~6 years. Best, Duncan
