Any more thoughts on this?  It's super annoying and happens with or without
a HD attached, meaning that even reboots from the reset switch or keyboard
during boot do this.  That to me means it's an issue with the BIOS.  So I
cleared the CMOS and that didn't work, I even went back a BIOS revision and
that didn't work either.
