I had another thought. My Library lets me check out (D/L only) electronic books
that play on certain MP3 players (not mine) or most computers. (Free Software
required.)
They would be time limited, but the price is right...
With good (or cheap?) ear buds and a built in graphic equalizer I can adjust the
sound to suit me.
