Why not just use the IE Tab extension and toggle the page over to the IE renderer when you need to?
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419 Or is there something about certain Active X plugins not working with it? Seriously, Active X was one of the WORST design choices Microsoft has ever made from a security standpoint. SO many of the security holes in IE (and thus Windows) come from Active X it's not even funny. Which again makes me laugh that companies insist that they must use IE for Active X and that they can't use Firefox because it can't be secured :) --------------------------- Brian Weeden Technical Advisor Secure World Foundation <http://www.secureworldfoundation.org> Montreal Office +1 (514) 466-2756 Canada +1 (202) 683-8534 US On Wed, Sep 9, 2009 at 11:32 AM, Christopher Fisk <[email protected]>wrote: > On Wed, 9 Sep 2009, swzaske wrote: > > What compatibility issues? >> > > Intranet site that that links to UNC paths require special configuration in > the about:config menu > > > We're talking about HTML code for rendering web pages which any browser is >> capable of.
