Not to mention that 32-bit versions of Windows are effectively EOL'd with the release of Windows 7. Microsoft has already announced that W7 will be the last consumer operating system available in both x86 and x64 flavors. They already made the cutoff with Windows Server--Server 2008 R2 is x64 only. Many of Microsoft's server products (such as Exchange 2007) are/will be available in 64-bit versions exclusively.
